Bias

The frames used by media are what information the public truly gets. Watching CNN has probably been the biggest wake up call in regards to media bias. Recently on CNN, Bernie Sanders asked for an extra debate in New York against Hillary Clinton. Clinton's campaign responded by offering dates and times for the debate that conflicted with other high rated programs. Bernie did not take any of these offers for the debate because it was not in his campaign's best interest to be a part of a debate that no one would see. Hillary Clinton's campaign called out Bernie Sanders for  challenging her but not following through with his threat. CNN brought in Clinton's campaign manager to discuss how Sanders would have to tone down his rhetoric as well. CNN has no begun to discuss Sanders' negative campaigning more than ever.
Other news sources have chosen to discuss these issues with very different prospective. MS NBC discussed the hypocrisy behind Hillary Clinton providing Sanders with debate times that were unreasonable. Clinton also asked for one of her supporters to be the moderator of the debate. this was information that I have not yet heard on CNN. Fox does a good job of attacking Hillary Clinton. When she attacks Bernie Sanders on his rhetoric, Fox consistently and blatantly says she is wrong. Clinton is framed in such a positive light on CNN but other news sources dig deeper. While news sources like FOX may almost be to negative toward her as a candidate.
