When watching the democratic presidential candidate Bernie
Sanders ads such as “America” and “American Horizon” it is something
interesting. In the “America” ad by Sanders, it is sending a message that the
people should all stand by each other. Also, saying that there is a future to
believe in that leads to his new ad called “American Horizon”. The ad for
“American Horizon” in which Sanders talks about the future and creating a
better America. In the method of Sanders ads are not attacking other
candidates, but instead informing the public of a brighter future with change.
This is different compared to other candidates who in their ads use an
attacking method to bring down their opponents.
The way that Bernie
Sanders use twitter is to inform the public of his ideas and share
videos/pictures of his campaign rallies. It is not like a Donald Trump where he
tweets his opinion of other candidates and attacks them. The use of twitter and
social media in general is for Sanders it to inform the public about his ideas
on a brighter future. Do not get it wrong Sanders does retweet attacks on
Hillary Clinton about her ideas and the polls. He also goes after the
Republican Party, but Sanders uses his twitter to inform the public about his
plans.
I think that Sanders is using a persuasion method because he
is informing the people on what he will do for the people. His point is to
reach the public and persuade them to vote for him based on his ideas for a
brighter future.
